to the guy who was looking for ecto goggles? i got a cool pair of welding goggles for £5 from ebay.co.uk with big square front plate.pretty awesome and cheap. i also found a tan/khaki flightsuit at an airshow for £3…which was an awesome find considering the only other ones i found where from american Ebay.com which was gonna cost £20

i just checked out that collectormania thing…looks awesome. thought only america did cool conventions like this. it looks well cool. might have to take a trip down and don my GB uniform :slight_smile: anyone going…?

Hi everyone, im not really new here as i joined in 05 but not been on here since, just havent had the time but im making the time now to catch up with other GB fans :slight_smile:

I would love to go to some kinda convention & meet u other people that"d be great im from Manchester, can i ask how & where u got ur costumes from as im seriously looking into this, ive seen alot but most are in the US which isnt a problem but is there anywhere closer to home for the outfits/flightsuits? Ive been very tempted by J Kerezman costumes his look cool 8)

Im after the GB 1 look with the Kakaki costume so could someone point me in the right direction here, many thanks

The Army surplus store link, im sure i read somewhere on this forum they were cheapo looking but they seem cool 8)

Getting the costume & everything else belt, nametag, keyrings & Legtube etc seems easy to get hold of but cant see anyplace for the circuit belt gizmo though

they sell 2 verions the standard and the deluxe…I founf out the ahrdway and baout the $29.99 one it was horrible !

the deluxe veriosn $34.99 is amazingly good !! I ahve that one look :

ive always wanted to make a proton pack, partical thrower and trap like in the movie but i am not good with metal

i would like to buy 1 but i dont know where to get them from

Thats cool Andy really good, well worth the money!! So tempting that is, how difficult is was it for all u guys to get the other stuff to complete ur costumes?? Alot does seem readily avaliable, is there any place to buy the belt/circuit board from?? :smiley:

erm well you can use any circuitboard , but in the movies they used the circuitboard from a SANYO 1980s calculator with nixie tubes

As for the circuit board being quite an old thing from the 70s/80s i would think pretty difficult to get hold off, i know best bet is Ebay but its always worth a look 8)

Ok im thinking at getting a costume from Army Surplus but im 5"6 mediuim build & i wear small to meduim size clothing, would u say a small size costume be to small & tight fitting??
