It’s because he saw my build using old car thermostats and needed something close to accurate since no one will sell him any. If he took the time to work them right they’re not a bad option but of course he’s too lazy to bother actually putting in effort.
I’m surprised that Discovery Networks would knowingly allow someone who used their name on his site to gain promotion on any show they produce.
I mean, that is just a simple Google search based on the video release form. I certainly hope he didn’t get paid for being on the show.
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I felt it better to do this then make a new one.
For whatever reason I just saw this video then came straight here to confirm my observations.
First: That was a HORRIBLE proton pack. I cringed at the gun hook and other blatant inaccuracies.
Second: Understand that “■■■■ Stars” is completely made and produced for TV. Fake as can be. The ‘sales area’ they show for TV is a set and blocked off so you go there in person (when you are in their souvenir shop in the same building). Everyone on that show is either a shill to promote their own stuff or a means to an end in promoting some other item or buisness.
What made me laugh when I saw this was not the quality of the pack but the idea of a ■■■■ shop buying one of these and the ridiculous price Bob wanted. I think his reputation would have been better suited for the even faker show ■■■■■■■■ ■■■■.
I really find it hard to believe that they would pay anymore than what Gold and Silver pays the people who ■■■■ stuff.
I want to say that experts who come in and give knowledge would get something. Kinda wish they would have called in one of they’re experts, don’t know how it would have gone but he might have been tried to sway them from buying it.
