Personally i think it’s great idea if they’d introduce this character in the comic’s published by IDW with a lot of back story and keep the realistic artwork they have in issue 2
Next time I would go with a different subject for this thread. It sounds like you are making the announcement that they are adding it.
Also. I’ve moved this thread from the Ghostbusters 3 forum to the Comic forum.
I disagree, I think they should leave the bad guys alone and start some new stuff
Idulnas was a great character, and an interesting addition to the Gozer mythos, but the Ghostbusters deal with a lot more than just Gozer & Vigo, and I think it’s high time they start showing this in the books.
Ditto…We need more NEW threats to NYC for them to battle, and not more throwbacks to characters already covered ad naseum in the comics, video games, and just about every other franchise iteration to date…
Don’t get me wrong - I LOVE the staple villians…But it’s time to stop retreading “old haunts” so much, and start creating new enemies for them to lock horns with…
Well, Mr. Burnham seemed to have an idea for using Vigo at one point. Not sure if he’s still going with it. But here it is:
See, that I can handle
have a bunch of new threats over the course of the year before retreading (although to be fair Vigo has only ever been mentioned in passing in the IDW comics, never out-right brought up like Gozer ad-nausem)
LMAO Thanx although that was my fault i meant to put in the comic section i was lookin’ at the GB III section at the time
Sound’s great i second that notion just thought that it would be good to give the villain the power to be a lot more threatening than to lose to the good guy’s quickly or easily and also give the readers a better understanding of vigo’s history and persona as a person
Just give Vigo a page at the back, doing a home craft segment martha stewart style. He can teach us how to bake a Carpatian classic “Kitty Kat Kake.”

I wouldn’t mind homages (like the Vigo painting in the game) but they do need fresh new content.
I wouldn’t mind though them expanding on some of the cartoon villians. That would give them a lot of material to work with that hasn’t been touched in years.
But it would be better as a subplot, instead of complete issues being devoted to it.
“Veganism with Vigo”? “Crafts of Carpathia”? “101 ways to cross-stitch that human soul”?
Thats the idea ben. ![]()

I would LOVE to see that :-)…
