What all goes on the belt?

I know that the leg hose and gizmo. There’s some yellow thing and what else?

I believe the yellow thing you mean is the Lifegard Pass Alarm from GB2! Don’t forget, gloves and black leather key rings. But yeah the belt circuit/pouch and the smaller circuit in the back. For GB1, An MT500 radio/holster, ghost trap holster.

there’s a good discussion on belt accessories. You don’t necessarily need all that though

It varies to be honest

GB1 (Sedgewick only) MT500, belt circuit, yellow hose, key chains, gloves

GB1 (from sedgewick on) Belt circit, yellow hose, key chains, glovs

GB2 Khaki: Clear hose, belt circuit, key chains, trap holster, gloves

GB2 Charcoal: Belt circit, key chains, trap holster, gloves, lifegard, jar for mood slime

GB2 Khaki (Vigo confrontation) Belt circuit, key chains, gloves, trap holster, lifegard and I’m almost sure they still have the clear hoses

Can someone help me figure out how many key fobs we are suppose to have on our belt, what style and what hooks up to them?

The number of key fobs generally varies from Ghostbuster to Ghostbuster. However, the following is an ideal set-up:

  1. One key fob on your right side that is used to hold the neutrona wand when you need to use both of your hands (as they are almost impossible to holster back onto the proton pack while wearing it).

  2. One key fob to attach the other end of the yellow leg hose to the back of your belt; some people have attached a small plug that that plugs into the hose and hangs off of the key fob.

  3. One key fob with a carabiner for holding the ecto-goggles (as in GB:TVG). Of course, if you are worried about belt space, it is easier to just wear them on your head like Ray does.

  4. In GB: TVG, they also have an extra key fob on their left side, in front of the belt circuit. This one doesn’t ever seem to be used for anything, so it is completely optional.

Here is a complete list of the equipment that goes on the belt for reference.

Black Gloves

Chemical gloves made of black rubber can be worn for messier jobs or tucked into the belt when not in use.

Motorola MT-500

The Motorola MT-500 is a 3-6 channel UHF, with no scan or PL boards and no dial pads on the face. This can have either a 2” (GB1) or 7” (GB: TVG) antenna and can be worn on the belt in a holster or clipped on the shoulder strap of the proton pack.

Belt Circuit

The belt circuit consists of the circuit board from a Sanyo ICC-808D or Minolta Minolcom in a black leather tape measure holder that connects to a smaller daughter board on the back of the belt via a coiled telephone or CB radio cord.

Leg Hose

The leg hose consists of a 3-4 ft. long piece of transparent plastic hose that has been dyed yellow. The front of the hose connects to a grey rubber hose connector that is sewn just above the right leg on the flight suit. The hose then connects to the back of the belt via a key holder (however, in the films and video game, they are simply tucked under the back of the belt. NOTE: If doing a Ghostbusters 2 grey/khaki flight suit, then the hose is clear; the dark grey suits have no leg hose.

Key Holders

The key holder consists of a black leather strap with a snap that is connected to a D-ring. Attached to this is yet another clasp with another short strap and a key ring. This is used for hanging the neutrona wand when not in use. Carabiners can also be attached to the D-rings in order to hang the Ecto Goggles. Most Ghostbusters have at least two key holders on their belts.

Trap Holster

Hope this helps!

You mean left leg, right?

Your left side; right side from anyone else’s perspective. Sorry.
