ive killed the chupacabara twice, and found a unicorn.
reason why i killed the chupacabara twice is, i restarted the game so my girlfriend could learn and it saved over my autosave. thinking i lost my unicorn i went to a previous save and spent hours riding around torquemada (where the unicorn spawns), and i saw the chupacabara.
fortunately, i got so angry riding around and doing nothing, i found out i have a hard save of the unicorn.
on another note, how mad were you at the end? i was pissed beyond human understanding that happened. just like i was royally pissed off at the end of regular rdr. i mean really, spending almost a month growing with a character, and then bam, that.
Anyone play Portal 2? I was about to buy it the other day but didn’t drop the $60.00 on it because I haven’t really looked up any reviews on it yet. I loved the first game, but I don’t want to spend $60.00 for 1 day worth of playing, especially if it’s a short game.
Still P-O’d about The Force Unleashed Two. What a waste of money that was, for 4 hours of gameplay, the same enemies and button combinations, and no where near the in depth story and action as the first one.
As childish as this may seem, I really like the LEGO games. Picked up LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean! Lots of objectives, characters, funny movie clips, and will take awhile to complete 100%! I’ve been through LEGO Batman, Star Wars The Complete Saga, and Indiana Jones and this one fits right in with the others!
Also, excited for GoW3, Dead Island, and Rage!! Hopefully they all turn out awesome!
Yea just jumped in to the thread! Thanks, and thanks for the heads up for Game Stop. Too bad we don’t have any up here in Northern Ontario! We’re stuck with Futureshop, Best Buy, EB Games, and Walmart for our big electronics sellers.
For RDR proper, I was a bit shocked at the end, but not pissed. As for UDN, I thought it was cool. Though you’d think you’d now be immune to zombies.
I actually just started a new save file not too long ago and am going full on asshole mode, no good guy this time.
I’ve been spending a lot of time on L.A. Noire the last week or so. It’s an awesome game. My only suggestion is that you shouldn’t drink while playing the game. For some odd reason, your detective abilities seem to get worse and worse as you get more and more drunk.
I just started this as well. When I played through the first time, I did it the “right” or “honorable” way. Now I’m looking forward to how the interactions change once I become the bad buy.
i dont know why i could never bring myself to being a dick in video games. hell when i play rdr multiplayer, i dont fire on people unless im fired on deliberately (if it’s at an ammo camp, there’s no need to figure out if it was an accident).

then hell hath no fury compared to mine.**
LOL it’s how i met derrico13! i was in the middle of dispensing online justice and he saw it then JOINED IN. i’ve spent HOURS just mowing the same honorless asshole down all over the map until they leave the game.
keep an eye out for
themanwoaname7
that’s me, it’s from the man with no name trilogy. ive been in love with spaghetti westerns for a ridiculously long time, so finally having a game in that vein, it’s heaven.
I only play Ghostbusters TVG and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on xbox live arcade.. My gamertag is TakeTheColtrane. If you need help busting ghosts, i’m your man. A true a professional. Lol
I like to bring the monopoly board to the bar with a group of friends and some pitchers once or twice a month. I also play a mean Scrabble
Red Dead’s having a bunch of random Triple XP events, Rockstar will tweet about it right before they go live. Today’s lasted the majority of the evening. I jumped on for the first time in months, and repeatedly got killed at Twin Rocks. I had to get used to the controls again. I also realized I never 100% Undead Nightmare, I’ve got some treasure to find…
Also another DLC pack is coming out soon (for free!). Rockstar always has a double/triple experience weekend every time they drop DLC, so keep an eye out for that if you’re trying to rank up.
Haha, also this; for some reason (I guess it’s the game’s atmosphere) I really expect/stick to a sense of “frontier honor”, and if that code’s broken: it’s murderin’ time.
thanks for letting me know last night about the triple xp thing too! i spent the rest of the night chasing jerks off the map than actually playing. i wish i could actually spawn some where, there isnt a bunch of assholes shooting each other and PLAY the online part of the game.
really, i dont understand these people’s malfunction to attack people that MAKE IT OBVIOUS they arent going to attack them.
outside of that, it wasnt a good night for me either at the hide outs. last week i was doing pikes basin and rio bravo with out a scratch…this week ive died atleast 3 times at each one.
You’re right Garee, doesn’t hit until the 14th here in the US, but hits today in Europe. But the game is getting no so great reviews, so I’m thinking time to cancel that pre-order…
I would expect it to just really be just more of the same Duke Nukem action from the old games, but with a shiny new coat of paint, updated graphics n such.
With Imfamous2 getting rave reviews, and just being released this past week, I have a feeling many will pass on it for now.
We’ll be getting Alice next week. We loved the original, I have all the old figures, and they are including an enhanced version of the original game and an extended copy of the original game’s score with preorders for it as well. We both love the music from the old game, and being able to play that on our 50" will be a big plus. (I beat it twice, but my wife to date has yet to finish it… she always gets stuck at the jabberwocky.)
I don’t think the new game will capture the same charm the original had, but since we get both games together, it feels like a worthwhile deal.
