the following moments I hate having to go through are;
the part where you have to destroy the codex in order to capture the library ghost.
when you have to slime tether you way up to the portal exit from that long stairway in the library stage before you reach the boss
the boss himself of the library stage
that spider character (whatever her name was) during the Return to the Sedgwick stage,
the entire stage after that
these parts in the game were the most fustrating moments but not as fustrating as the old classic NES version where you have to climb the stairs
“the pause button does shit. there is no pause button. what if you have to take a shit? too bad if you really gotta go. I’m playing GBsII and I got shit stains on my pants. or what if the phone rings. you’re answering machine would have to say SORRY, I CANNOT COME TO THE PHONE RIGHT NOW, I’M PLAYING GHOSTBUSTERS II ON NINTENDO.” - AVGN’s review on Ghostbusters II for the NES
Not even a forewarning… I just can’t believe that people still treat each other this way in 2010. I thought that the internet was a happy, safe, fun place but I guess I was wrong. Who just up and leaves without saying Goodbye
please make sure you Catch isaacs telivision debut tonight. He will be on Isreals local version of “to catch a predator” They are doing a full hour on how he stalks young women on GBfans. And I lovefurries.com
As sad as it is to admit it, while I love story mode l found myself getting “annoyed” in a few parts. First being the candle critters, I hate those damn things with a passion! They jump and go all Kamikaze on your ass, cept they are ghosts and your flesh so they survive while you take a beating. Another part I found myself gritting everytime it came up was the Cupid Angels section. Slimeteethering them got difficult at times (I’m not what you call an advance gamer) and eventually I found myself replaying the level to many times. Those are really the only annoying parts for me as the game goes. Other then that loved it and play it almost every night since I bought it
I feel there is no replay value other than seeing some of the cutscenes. I just finished metroid other m and you can unlock the cutscenes which make up the “other m movie” I thought to myself, this is would have been perfect for gbtvg
The parts that got to me were taking out the books to get to the librarian, the big library boss, and the cupid statue fight at the end where you have to tether them to the gate..
I haven’t felt a rage like that in a long time, trying to get through those parts.. first time I made it to the cupid fight I spent so long on it I just started a new game on easy.. It’s the only way I can successfully get through the game.. normal is nearly impossible; everything does way too much damage and the three above-mentioned scenes are just too much to handle.
yes, the “boss fight” against the librarian in the cellar, where you have to destroy those books that are flying in a circle above your head, thats really the only part I dislike
