So I’m planning to create a Ghostbusters outfit, but I can’t find any jumpsuit, pack or anything for a good price? Where can I find this stuff cheap?
well, i’d suggest reading through the forums as this is a question often asked. For a pack, if you want quality you are going to pay, having a budget is probably a good start. And what does “cheap” mean to you? For jumpsuit you can find a used Nomex flightsuit on ebay for $30-50 pretty easily, and of course you could go TruSpec brand which the site here sells for roughly $50, they also carry the belt, elbow pads, and gloves, just about everything you need to suit up. Check out the for sale section for some items as well, but as far as “cheap” you’re not going to find a ready built pack that looks good in the “cheap” range, expect to pay over $1,500+ depending on if you want Lights + Sounds. Anovos is selling a kit now which I believe is around $700, but will need to be assembled, painted, and finished. Good luck, take your time going through the forums you’ll find a lot of great advice.
It would depend on how much time you’re willing to spend or how much accuracy you’ll be willing to sacrifice. Some people can make passable equipment from cardboard, insulation foam or just junk laying around. Also, check Amazon and military surplus stores for flight suits. The real cheap ones are around 30-50$ last I checked.
thanks
