So, you’re walking down the street by yourself in full Ghostbusters gear and somebody yells “Who ya gonna call?”
What do you say?
I tried my darnedest to think of a witty response but I came up with nothing.

“Someone else.”
I would probably yell, “There’s a thread for that!”.
fake edit: Or I say nothing because 9 times out of 10 they are just singing the song and will end up saying, “Ghostbusters” by themselves.
Is there a reason not to give them the appropriate response of “Ghostbusters!” ?
You know, you are walking down the street wearing GB gear - it’s bound to happen, and you can’t expect not to draw attention to yourself by wearing the whole outfit. Unless the person was obviously mocking you (were they?), in which case it would probably be a good idea to ignore them anyway, why not respond?

He-Man!
I usually say “Me” or “Us” if with a group.
GHOSTBUSTERS! ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!
We’re already here.
Me maybe? Lol I hate that song. How about “Those Bastards!”? Listen closely next time you here the song.
Me, Us, He-Man, or just “Ghostbusters!”
No one tends to get the He-Man reference in my experience, but are often amused by “me/us”.
I just say ME when I’m in gear. But I have had notes left on my ecto asking if we actually hunt ghost.
Elwood: “Who you gonna call, Jake?”
Jake: “You remember Maury Sline?”
I usually say DEEZ NUTS!!!
In fact a few years ago me and some guys were at a small con in Atlanta. Our GB table was next to the “Star Photo Booth” (Where people pay to take pics with celebs olan mills style) which has had random people exiting it all day and seeing us only to respond with “Who you gonna call?” I have my back turned toward the booth and hear someone ask the question and I respond with a REALLY loud, long and obnoxious DEEEZ NUUUUUUTS!!!, only to turn and see Jackie Brown herself, Pam Grier…She smiled and laughed and said, “That’s good.” and went about her way.
So if its good enough for Pam Grier…
