I have Exoray’s light kit and I’m curious if anyone else is concerned about the fit inside of the switch box to the left of the fun. You know, the one with the INTENSIFY and ACTIVATE switches. The switches seem to fit in there awfully tight, and I was concerned that over time that might cause an issue. I thought about drilling the back side of the switch box out a little bit so there would be some more room. Is anyone else having this problem??
yes i did have this problem also
all i did was cut the heat wrap off those to switches.
but be carefull dont cut the wires, or your hair will look like this :vinzclortho:

Just heat up the heat shrink and bend…
how do we heat it up unless you mean to run the lights
A hair dryer.
Althought I don’t think you would really need to heat that up to get it to bend.. just make it fit.
Also Flynn… high quality job on those connectors. I love it when people take the time to do something like that right.
Open flame, a soldering gun, or a heat gun. Heck, if you have a hot glue gun, you could just turn that on without any glue in it and rub the tip on the heat shrink.
Cool, I wasn’t sure those connectors would bend without being damaged. I will definitely try that, thanks for the great pics Flynn!
As said there are lots of options, I would try a hair dryer first as it won’t burn or melt anything, but like a butter knife is a poor mans screw driver a Bic lighter is the poor mans heat shrink heater…
It won’t take much and yes you could do it without heating but if you heat it and then bend it and hold it will cool and hold it’s position…
I’m glad someone mentioned this, I’m finally getting around to installing my lights to my gun body and this is useful information for me!
I’ve been tring to find a thread that shows the best - or most accurate way - to run the wires from the trigger box into the slo-blo box.
It is my understanding that you are to drill a small hole in the side of the trigger box and a corresponding hole in the slo-blo for the wires to pass through.
