I have no opinion of the curve either way.
I say include it. I can’t really see people wanting to mod the shell if you do to make their pack less accurate. Plus it will give your shell an accuracy that many others don’t.

It is accurate, but it also looks ugly, It’s one of those “easier to add than it is to remove” bits, where this is a “idealized version” of the pack I don’t know if I want to go that far on the accurate side, if I do that, I might as well add the huge curve in the corner plate area too. if a couple more people say to do it, I’ll do it tho

Well if it is something that can easily be done TO the shell, it isnt something easily UNDONE. I say leave it off, it makes it seem too soft and rounded, some hard edges are needed in places, but that is my opinion.

ok lemme take a stab at this;
I say leave it off. To me it looks like a lazy molding that whomever was building the packs just kinda slapped on the spot putty.
kinda like how the tips of the guns look like shit on the real packs but we all streamline them to look nice, this is like the same thing.
I’d have to say it doesn’t bother me with or without but I think it would be wiser to leave it off considering it’d take minutes to put on yourself and hours to remove.
Pretty much what Nick said. Adding the fine accuracy details like that definitely adds to the prestige of the shell, so many people have strayed from doing the fine details on other various shells. I say do it, but then again it’s such an easy detail to add.
I’ve decided I’m going to leave it off, it’s the easiest of all the details to add,and hardest to remove. to me it looks like a mistake, or laziness, others like it. Maybe if someone offers a totally accurate motherboard I’ll do a revised shell with all the accurate/ugly marks haha

I think I’m with you on not adding that change to the crank gen. As you said it seems like an accident or laziness, kind of like the slanted ribs on the Power Cell. It would be different if you were going for 100% accuracy but since you built it to fit the mobo you should leave it looking pretty. Style wins in my book, but that’s just me.

The left hand half of the weld, the section that’s catching the reflection, looks perfect. If you can make the rest look that good then it will be perfect.
