Now the question is, who’s still buying two Winstons?

Now the question is, who’s still buying two Winstons?

Toy News International has a couple more images of Ray and his theatrical friend. It looks like his second arm comes right out of the joint at the elbow. I don’t remember it being that way, but maybe I’ll have to rewatch the film. Either way it’s SWEET!
I like this trend of Sweet figure AND Sweet ghost rather than having one rock, and the other one be so-so.
Also, if you look through the pics you can see the closed-wing PKE and a supposed release date for both the 12" packs.
Although they also say that Lab Coat Egon was released in March… So I’m not placing too much faith in that date.
Wow, that’s great! I didn’t think we’d see Slimeblower Ray so soon! I wonder if he’ll be released this year, or next year…if it’s this year, all that’s left to reveal is one other non-GB to make the sixth standard figure for the year (and the SDCC exclusive).
Agreed!
awesome! Hopefully it’s safe to assume Ray doesn’t have the GB2 logo on his arm for a reason similar to the whole Winston head issue. I’m not gonna call a press conference and tell everyone to start praying!!!
EDIT: haha I just noticed no gloves…everybody hold on! hahaha
Cant wait. We knew he was coming, but this soon? What a tease.
a member of the boards on mattycollector attended the CON and asked toyguru some ?s…TG said that the only thing he can reveal about the sdcc exclusive is that fans will LOVE it and that it will be BIG…he also said that the non-gb figure has alot NEW tooling like vinz did…the member is gonna try n get some more ?s answered today
Yay!!! And a cool ghost to boot!!! Wish him and Winston came with “Slime Streams” but oh well!
Me.
Me too. ![]()
Me, and I’m debating getting two Ray’s as well. Did Mattel say hwy he doesn’t have his gloves?
I think mine’s better.

And it was revealed the day before this one. ![]()
Okay, I’ll take one of yours too then ![]()
Great reveal. And, SlimeGuy hit the nail on the head: a sweet figure and a sweet ghost in one pack is definitely a good thing for Matty to try and keep up.
Regarding SDCC - I’m not going to hold my breath. Last year was supposed to “knock our socks off” and I think most were very underwhelmed by the Retro Action figures.
i agree with GhstbstrLMLIII about the retro action figures. with all the detail that they have done with the ghostbusters line since it came out i think the proton packs and blasters for the retro figs should have been alot better
I am thrilled that Mattel is releasing a Slimeblower Ray figure. I just hope that they include the gloved forearms like did for Winston, or else I think I wiil have purchase an extra SB Winston and swap the lower arms with Ray’s. While I am pretty happy with my 6 inch Ghostbusters action figures, I am starting to get annoyed that Mattel keeps leaving out the gloved forearms and for the longest time giving all of the good accesories to the 12 inch figures.
Still it is great to have another GB 2 figure coming out and I am very pleased with the look of the theatre ghost that Ray comes with.
PS: I bet the SDCC figure is Stay Puft since Mattel has not made him yet.
That’s been my thinking too, considered the only real hint given out about it so far is it will be “big”. Unless it’s a Spook Central playset, there wouldn’t be much bigger from the GB universe.
Im buying definately two Rays.and one Winston off course. What could be this year SDCC Ghostbusters exclusive??I hope its Gozer or Vigo! ![]()
I hate to say it, but it may be another Retro Figure. Maybe a retro Stay Puft… ![]()
Yeah, since last year’s was Retro as well. It could easily be a big Retro plush Stay Puft that could “fit in” with either line.
Please, cut off the Retro line. I’ll never buy any of these.
