A question.....

We have Dan talking GB3 once again. And I have to ask this question, as its been on my mind all day.

Is Dan Aykroyd the problem with GB3? It seems every few months he gets interviewed and drops the “Its filming later this year!” reply. Does Dan really think its gonna happen this year, or last year, or the year before? Or does he drop the GB3 line to create buzz on the internet that he can show to Sony and company to try to push the idea of the Third movie? Saying to them things like “See they want this, its all over the internet!”

Like this latest bit of news from him. “We have half the screen play done.” Why not hold off on talking about it till the scripts been approved and the studio says go on it?

In closing I ask the question. Is Dan Aykroyd getting annoying to anyone else, and is he one of the problems holding GB3 back?

(Also in before the “your not a real fan!” or “IF you hate the idea of GB3 why are you here?” or “ITS ALL BILLS FAULT THE MOVIE HAS NOT HAPPENED YET!” lines. And prepared for the downvoting butt hurt to happen.)

Yes. He most certainly is the problem.

I think everyone is behind it.

The script just hasn’t been good enough for anyone.

Dan is just the #1 cheerleader, and yes I think it would be good if he stopped getting people’s hopes and expectations up.

Dan is Ray Stantz…a childlike paranormal enthusiast. GB is his baby and he’ll never stop believing in GB3 being made. I think that is up to the reporters NOT to ask the GB3 question.

THey should ask it to Ramis or Reitman.

I don’t recall Ramis making any public appearances or doing any interviews since press for Year One and GB: TVG in 2009. At this point, it seems like the only way to find him is go to every game at Wrigley and hope you bump into him. Reitman does get asked by reporters about it. And Murray, and Hudson, and Weaver, too.
