People have been having a hard time sourcing LC-1 frames and straps. Since those are black, they are LC-1 frames and hopefully he has the straps and kidney pads to go with them
That’s a whole lot of frames.

hate to break it to you guys but those are LC-2 frames. you can tell by the cross beam in the middle section there. And they look more olive drab than black to me.

So the fact that they’re green prevents you from painting them black? Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth if the chance arises to own one of these…

Nothing wrong with the LC-2 frame, I find that extra bar in the middle nice for added stability, and I like the belt that version came with too.
I’m genuinely surprised to hear the original packs didn’t have the LC-2, I thought the only type of frame that came with the A.L.I.C.E. Packs had the cross-beam by default.

Okay, I give up. What exactly is the difference between LC-1 and LC-2 frames besides the color? I have a ton of ALICE frames, both green and black, and they’re all the same save for a few minor differences depending on who manufactured them.
I need an ALICE pack what ever version it is. So, if your selling them I need two or three please. Name the price.
Okay, here’s the deal. I won’t be able to get all of them, but I working very hard to provide you, my fellow ghostheads, with a limited amount. SO what I need to know is how many LC-1 straps I’m gonna need and how many LC-2 straps I’m gonna need. Now, having said that, if you say you want either it doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll get it. I"m trying to figure out how many to gather up is all. So, is the consensus LC-1 or LC-2?

Can you get photos of the strapping, because I’ve seen LC-1 straps from after 1975 that aren’t correct?

well, seeing as LC-2’s are readily available on eBay at all times, i would say just grab all the LC-1’s you can.
