With the release of pictures of the Ghostbusters 3 proton pack is anyone going to make one. I think the pack has took a new turn something brand new by making it looks really old and looks like it needs duck tape to hold it together and defiantly some people don’t like the new one :walterpeck: , but are we forgetting that’s what the original pack looked like homemade because it was. when the movie comes out and i watch i will probably try to build one after seeing the new effect of the proton stream to see if they changed that.
Well for one, is is a reimagining and not Ghostbusters 3. And a few folks have already built them. Granted one was just to blow up for the 4th of July.
There are several of us that are already started on building one.
Although, the recent release of an alternate version has me wondering what I should do.
I’m basically just making it for my sister-in-law to wear at Halloween, so I guess it doesn’t really matter too much. I just enjoy the process of building stuff. 
I’d go with the version Feig released measurements of. Odds are that’s the final version we’ll see going forward.
Tbh, I’m more interested in an XGB pack. What little we’ve seen suggests the fieg hospital pack is inspired by xgb, and upgraded where necessary. I want to do something with lights and steam.
Don’t get me wrong, I like steam punk, I guess. I’m just not feeling it yet for these copper contraptions. Though, I do enjoy soldering copper. How can you NOT have fun with a blow torch?
I’m planning one. I’m collecting what parts I can find but I’m waiting till after the movie is out to put it together. That’s only so I know what the sound and lighting effects will be,
