Anything paranormal ever happen to you?

Just had my mother call me yesterday. “Hey, you’re a ghostbuster, what do you make of this?”

My brother in law who is a head chef at a local restaurant had a friend that also worked with him that ended up killing himself about 3 years ago.

So, the restaurant manager is down in the basement near the cooler several months back in the restaurant, and sees an apparition/person that resembled my brother in law’s friend. He was so freaked out but he never mentioned it to anyone for fear of being called crazy/made fun of. (Lots of ball-busting in the kitchen)

Anyways, about a week ago, the sous chef that works underneath my brother-in-law at the restaurant, is down in the basement and sees the same thing as the restaurant manager did. The sous chef is fairly new, never knew the guy who killed himself, and was able to explain in-detail, what the dude look liked. It was my brother in law’s friend!

Eventually, it was corroborated with the restaurant manager admitted to the story, and the stories matched up. Interesting. Now, the waitresses are all freaked out and scared to go down to the basement… and the wait for food is now 3x as long.

So, as a Ghostbuster, what do you make of it?

sounds like a class 3 repeater to me.

Well, my mother doesn’t really distinguish between my paranormal investigation dabbling ( specializing in demonology) and my love of the GB franchise, if that makes more sense. Hahha.

In my opinion, you should never go to that restaurant again. That sounds terrible. Waiting 3 times as long to get your food is unacceptable.

Figures that just as I am reading this thread, my bedroom door kinda creaked. I am pretty sure it was the wind though, or my sister coming in and changing her mind halfway.

When I was younger I used to be EXTREMELY superstitious. I would stay awake agonizing over the end of the world (or Y2K) at night. Any little story about a haunted place or mysterious death would give me goosebumps and keep me up for days, but I would still gobble them up like crazy and would keep asking questions. I did have a certain fascination over it after all. Of course, remember, I was a child and most children react this way.

The way I kinda got out of it was once Y2K never happened, I kinda realized at that moment that I was way too believing and that it was stupid of me. However, even though I am not as assuming anymore, that doesn’t mean I am completely skeptical about the whole paranormal thing. I definitely do not believe in aliens and UFOs, it just seems crazy to me that if there is other life in space (that seems to be more advanced than us at that) that they haven’t tried harder to make contact.

As far as ghosts are concerned however, I do have some belief that they exists, just like how I believe God might exists (not to get into religion, but I think this illustrates my point). But since I’ve never had anything paranormal happen to me (as far as I know), I still hold some doubt. However, I am more than welcome to the experience that will make me a believer.
