Anything paranormal ever happen to you?

This place is rarely serious long enough for me to waste time talking about mine.

I died when I was 9. I died for 3 minutes and floated around the medical offices while the doctor and staff worked like hell to get my heart started by compression. I read over the shoulders of people in the waiting room, overheard conversations by the nurses, and saw my grandmother in the lobby. I never left the structure and remained more-or-less on the ceiling looking down, moving room to room. I don’t even recall any “movement” is was more like one second I’m here, then I’m there. I don’t know how I moved between rooms. Also, there was no presence of a bright white light nor a dark black tunnel, something I’ve heard others report. Nothing like that for me. When I came back, I told them what I saw and what conversations I overheard and who said what.

You can’t make a room of people shut up better than by doing that.

I don’t talk about it much, especially not around here with you goobers. Everyone answers with dumbass responses like “hur-dee-dur” or a pic of Boxxy or maybe someone photoshops sad Keanu into ghost Keanu and then I just stop giving a shit about the place for another few months.

I was dead once. Top it.

No. I’ve never had any sort of paranormal experience. Nor have I ever seen any compelling evidence that such things are real.

My mom on the other hand swore she saw a UFO when she was younger, but I suspect she and her friends were high at the time. She always denied it, but she did grow up in the 60’s, so… She also claimed to have seen some kind of demon at the end of her bed once when she was older, sometime when I was a child. I chalk that one up to a nightmare/hallucination.

I’m sorry, but that made me lol.

My sister’s freinds would disagree with you!

When we were teenagers, her freinds came over to play with a ouija board in her bedroom. They entered a darkened room and began their seance. Soon books were flying off the walls, the tv and radio were turning on and off and playing creepy noises, and even the dolls were making strange sounds as the lights flickered on and off. One of them ran screaming from the room, slammed into a wall, and smashed a picture. She ran downstairs to my parents sobbing.

They then told her the truth and that it was all a trick and I was under the bed controlling it all from there.

The books I’d tied a string behind so I could yank them off the shelf. The doll was designed to make noise when the light level changed. The radio had a tape in it with moaning sounds, and I had the TV remote and a power strip which I could use to plug and unplug things. My sister of course, was in on the prank.

And as far as I know, no actual paranormal activity took place that night.

ive never had anything paranormal happen to me. not ever.

i dont believe in ghosts either. i love ghostbusters. thats as far as I go.

So exactly my point then, lol.

I just find it funny that people actually believe that a toy could do something like that.

Let alone that comments like “You never know what kind of spirit will come out of it” when followed by “No matter what you think, something will bad intentions will almost always be talking to you.” show just how naive the person is. If you’re saying you never know what kind of spirit will come out, how do you know its almost always something with bad intentions? Talk about the definition of hypocrisy. Its just people being naive and buying into something blindly, and I personally find it goddamn hilarious.

I guess I may as well add my .02 cents in on this.

This would be told to me by my mother. She is downstairs and hear’s my older sister laughing, then stopping, then laughing… this goes on for a small time before she ventures upstairs to see what’s going on.

As she enters my sister’s bedroom - she see my sister, standing in her crib, looking patiently into the corner of the room then laughing as she falls backwards into the crib. My mother observed this over a few moments as my sister, repeatedly, got up - stood patiently looking into the corner - then falling back laughing hysterically.

She calls her mother upstairs to see what is going on - because she thinks, perhaps, my sister may be ill - my mother comes to the door and watches what is happening then, calmly, looks to the corner of the room and says “Charlie, leave her alone and let her go to sleep will you.”

My sister stops looking at the corner of the room and settles to bed. When my mother asks my grandmother what she was on about, she told her that when my grandfather would put my sister to bed, he would put her in the crib, then step back into the corner of the room and cover his face then “peek-a-boo” before advancing quickly and tickling her on the bed. He would repeat this over-and-over again.

And, of course you have guess at this point, my grandfather was long passed away.

OMG there is nothing like that happened with me yet. But the stories shared here are thrilling and i am really scared of paranormal stuff..

So I bought the blu-ray of “The Last Exorcism” and in the special features there is a feature about actual exorcisms. Supposedly in the documentary they claim to have actual demonic voices recorded during actual exorcisms. Before the program starts they reccomend that you recite the prayer located in the extras menu.

While I do believe there may be actual cases of demonic possesion ( I have never witnessed or seen actual proof) I sincerly doubt that watching an extra featurette on a blu ray will expose you the possibility of a demonic possesion or allow demonic forces to enter your home (I.E the warning is complete horses**t)

The movie was alright but the last 15 minutes was a complete rip off of “Rosemary’s Baby” and a complete let down.

When I graduated High school I did take a Parapsychology course at JFK university in Orinda ca. back in the early 90’s (Yes Ghostbusters made me want to be a Parapsychologist) we did do a few investigations including some infared photography where we did catch some figures on film. Not orbs but actual human forms so that was proof to me that there are ghosts are real. But I think it is irresponsable for a movie company to put something a warning like that on a Blu ray knowing that someone watching be slightly unhinged enough to believe that they have opened themselves up to “demonic” forces.

These may be the same folks who still believe “The Blair Witch Project” is real ( I have met a couple of people who still think this!)

I took a ghost poop the other day.

You know, when you poop and go to wipe and nothing is there.

Does that count?

Yes but do not mix that up with a spook shart, same concept just when you blow a** and think you’ve dropped one, you look and it’s not there

Bad job you did.

Both of you.

I’ve seen ghosts and caught many orbs on camera at my parents house in St. Augustine, FL. It’s really not surprising when you consider that you’re walking over graves in almost every part of that old town.

Orbs? `:-\ Those are bullshit. Believe in them if you want, they’re bullshit.

Also, “real” ghosts tend to haunt the places where their traumatic events occured. Most experts seem to agree it’s some event that link them to a location of repetitive interaction or where their trauma was caused.

Haunting graveyards?!?! Only in Scooby Doo cartoons, not in reality. Goth kids hang out there swearing they saw ghosts because it makes them “interesting.” People want to believe that graveyards and hearses are haunted because they have/had dead people in them. You want haunted? Screw the hearse, check an old ambulance. People died in there.

Where we did our Photos was in a place called the burlington hotel in Port Costa Ca. The place was a Brothel in the 1800’s and apparently had a few prostitues murdered in the place. We did not get any orbs but actual human figures, the that sticks out in mind was one picture that when devloped had the faint image of a woman sitting on a bench in clothing of that era.

From what I was taught the orb debate is subjective. and the reason why some investigators choose not to consider them as evidence. For me there are just too many variables with orbs (dust, moisture, glare, reflections, etc..) As far as graveyards are concerned there are some that have some activity in them for example Bachelors grove Cemetery in Illionis is cosidered to be haunted.

At my parents house “lives” the ghost of a young girl about 20 years old… she lived there many years ago, but she studied out of town… once she came home by driving her onw car at night, she was sleepy when crossed the trains path, and the locomotor hit her car killing her immediately.

Her funeral services were at home… and the spirit stay there… then, back in 1987 when my parents bought that house, the former owners warned them about the paranormal activity, but my dad don´t believe in ghosts. I was the principal witness of that paranormal activity, watching her shadow walking from room to room, listening steps, doors opening and closing by themselves, tvs and radios turning on and off… I was scared at the beginning, but I got used to her after watching her night after night, and realizing she won´t hurt me. My mom, dad and sister watched her occasionally.

But since I got married about 2 years ago and move out from that house, my sister move her stuff to the room that used to be mine, now she has experienced more paranormal activity.

Even friends of mine who has experienced something are afraid of coming to my home when I lived there XD

That’s creepy. I believe that one.

If you don´t you´re welcomed at home… whenever you want to spend a night at home (if you dare) :stuck_out_tongue:

I had a lady violently shotgun her dome in my bedroom before I lived here. Growing up, I’ve had countless old ladies croak in the domiciles before my family occupied them. Never nothing. Not so much as a door creeking. Disappointed.

same with me

I used to be much more optimistic about paranormal experiences when I was younger. I always “seeking” out such, by going to “so called” haunted places and I’ve YET to see anything. I’ve become more of a “seeing is believing” type. I’ve lived in houses, apartments where people have offed themselves. I’ve stayed over night in some down right CREEPY places, places “renowned” for having paranormal activities, but I’ve never seen nor heard anything. So at this point I wouldnt say I dont believe… i just dont acknowledge the idea.
