It would be funny if they casually replaced Murray with Chevy Chase.
Frankly, I’d be equally upset if any of the four “original” Ghostbusters decided not to be in the film.

Sorry but I have the exact same mindset as Bill. If it looks like it sucks then it’s just not worth doing. Only a home run of a script/screenplay is worthy of attempting, anything that doesn’t meet or exceed the bar of excellence should be killed with fire.
Maybe Bill would be more motivated if they came to him with a script entitled, “Peter Venkman: The Movie and Nothing Else or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and be a Team Player.”

Please explain to me why you guys are still backing Murray. This isn’t me being a bitch or anything. I just honestly don’t understand how you could love someone who doesn’t care about the franchise. I know he’s upset about how GB2 came out and he’s jaded, but like I said before he’s acting like Shatner. If he ends up not being involved with the movie he’ll probably put a psychotic rant on YouTube like Shatner did. You can’t dis a franchise and be in it too!
BTW I had a dream last night I met Bill in an airport. I approached him and asked him why he was acting the way he was. I apologized for attacking him but as a huge GB nerd I didn’t understand why he wouldn’t want to be involved with such an awesome franchise. He put his hands on my shoulders and told me none of it was true and he in fact was excited about GB3. Just as we were about to take a picture my alarm went off. I guess some dreams will never come true…
