I don’t know whether proton charger is really Bill Murray but I’ve said pretty much all there is to say from my opinion so I’m moving on to the next topic.
And realistically speaking a Ghostbusters 3 is going to end up being very effects heavy because that’s just the state of Hollywood. Sony isn’t going to want to make a modest, character driven film. They’re gonna want to make it a giant spectacle with tons of CGI, and explosions, etc, etc, because they want it to be a summer blockbuster. Personally I think Ghostbusters 3 would make just as much money on a 50 million dollar budget as it would on a 200 million dollar budget. There’s no need for overkill.
and they’ll make it 3d. i wont work on a film that’s 3d. reason number 134 why im being so difficult.
I feel exactly the same. I think you can have a good character driven film where the special effects assist the story rather than drive it. I’m thinking of a film like District 9 where the special effects are amazing and all, but when I think about the film itself what I remember most is the story and characters. Then when i think of a film like Transformers 2, I can’t even recall what the hell it was about because it was 2 hours of explosions and CGI. Anyways, I guess what I’m saying is I’m perfectly fine with a lot of CGI as long as it doesn’t become the central focus of the film (which, let’s face it, it probably will.) It could be the 4 Ghostbusters sitting around a dinner table for 2 hours and I’d still effin’ see it.
If Ghostbusters III is having this much trouble, when can we expect Spaceballs 2: The Search for more Money?
