Listen to him list the names of the comedians who have passed away. He believes the golden age of comedy has come and gone. He believes that great movies like Ghostbusters should be left undisturbed. I think there will be no GB3 as far as Murray is concerned. This is the impression I get from watching this video.

I have to agree,to have Bill Murray or any of the guys wear my pack, on stage, on TV would mean so much more than an autograph. Now don’t get me wrong I did have Dan Aykroyd sign my 12’’ Stanz figure, unfortunitly I was wearing my pack and before I knew he had spun my ass around and was signing my pack! now I can’t repaint the thing. It was cool to see Dan Aykroyd’s level of appreciation to the GB fans at Bevmo tho.
Here’s hoping Bill Murray has relented and signed on to do the third movie.

We’ll just have to wait and see about GB 3. He looked good in the suit, but Bill will be Bill. Like AJ said, if the script is bad, Bill won’t do it.

i just watched this this morning. LOL i didnt know he was gonna get an AWARD for that cameo! LOL. this was very cool to see, and im sure alot of people are probably gonna think that this is a big hint that GB 3 is gonna happen eventually, and while that may be, i still doubt it. i mean, look at him, man he got OLD and grey! NOT saying ageing is a bad thing at all, i love alot more older people then young people, but still, for a movie he got pretty old and i doubt they wouldhave him wearing a heavy proton pack. the ones they wore in the films were heavy and even back then they complained. the one he wore here looked rubber, which i think were the stunt packs. the “hero” packs were alot heavier.
my point is, even though this was AWSOME to see murray in full (if not entirely accurate) ghostbusters garb for the first time in like 20 years, i still have heavy doubts that there will be a 3rd movie, despite this and the videogame last year. and personally i think thats a good thing, because despite what excitement i might have fora 3rd film, in the end we dont want another Indy 4 to mess with the classic films (not that i hated indy 4, but it was nowhere on the same level as the original 3).
yes, he mentioned all the greats. lets face it, todays comedy sucks, at least as far as im concerned. i always put on the classics when i need a laugh. todays humour is way too in your face and vulgar. bill and co. is pure CLASS all around. i also liked his voice, murray may have aged a bit but his voice is still classic murray from 20+ years ago. he sounded just like his old self in the game too.
also, i never even HEARD of this awards show before. whats with all the freaks dressed as zombies and crap? what do they award at this show? it looked pretty freak-in weird.
