I sell all items through Etsy to simplify order administration and to provide buyer protection against my failure to deliver. I offer a 2 day order cancellation period and promise to ship within 5-7 business days. No refunds or exchanges but I will work with you to earn your complete satisfaction.
I also believe in having a bit of fun and I try to create short videos to promote the shop and items. I posted my first Ghostbusters short over the in the Fan Videos forum. Check it out if you have time.
I’ve ordered the crank knob and it looks fantastic! I’m anxiously awaiting the Loom Clamp, but if the knob is any indication, it will be worth the wait. Thank you!
Thank you. Very glad to hear you are pleased with the crank knob. Will be shipping the Loom Clamp on Tuesday.
By the way, you can also mount the “standard” clamp inside the pack should you change your mind and go that route. The “shorty” just provides more room.
I want to second this statement. The crank knob is top notch and the loom clamp is simply amazing. Bishop’s service is second-to-none as well. He took the time to catch-up on my build thread and made recommendations on how I should install the loom clamp. The communication was excellent and the shipping was fast. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
I had a vintage crank knob on my Gb1 hero pack but it was black. I didn’t want to paint it, so I did the next best thing and purchased a crank knob from Bishop’s Esty shop: it is INCREDIBLE! I also loved the personalized note on my invoice - thanks, Bishopdonmiguel! I’m a big fan of yours, too!!!
I’ve seen a very cool electronics package for the KUD from a fellow GBFans member. While I think it is amazing, for me the style doesn’t seem a proper fit for 1989 technology.
I have been meaning to add some functionality to my KUD build and finally had the opportunity. I wanted this to feel like it could have been seen in the film so I designed a vintage circuit and utilized the existing components in the Micronta 3001.
I will be offering this “KUD Driver” module starting this week and will update the first post as soon as the listing is active. Price will be $39.99. You’ll need basic soldering skills but if you’ve built a KUD, it should be straightforward modification.
Here is a preview video demonstrating the operation…
Just wanted to throw a quick review of praise on this thread. I received my loom clamp and crank knob a few weeks ago but just had a chance to inspect them and wow! The loom clamp is awesome and will look so clean installed. But the crank knob is the MVP. I have a genuine Raytheon knob that I’m using for a hero pack and side by side they’re practically indistinguishable. Incredibly well done down to the smallest detail, my hat is off to you. Thanks for making such a great product, can’t recommend these parts enough!
I appreciate you taking the time to write that. Making replicas is a passion and I never sell anything I wouldn’t keep for myself. Hearing that someone appreciates the effort is very humbling. Thank you.
If anyone is interested in a fully assembled KUD Meter, I acquired the parts to build (2) KUD Meters with our KUD Driver Electronics Kit pre-installed. There is one ready to purchase now and ship in 3-5 days. The other will be ready within the next 24 hours.
Glad to hear you’re happy with this little part. It’s an authorized remake of the one Wiz-GB008 used to offer. While designed as a visible “mouse hole port” for the loom, remember you can optionally mount this inside using a smaller roundish hole on your pack. You’ll still have a well secured loom but the smaller hole would be more screen accurate I think. If I built my pack over again, I think I’d go with the smaller hole and hide the clamp inside.
This KUD Meter is amazing! The build feels very solid and the sounds really add to the prop. Everything works great and the craftsmanship is top notch! Thanks again, Bishop, for the outstanding items that you contribute to our community of Ghostbusters fans.
