Post office “delivered” my Replica Props sound module but apparently they didn’t deliver it to me. The customer service lady said, “Um…I’ll take your information and let you know if we find it.”
Awesome.

Actually, While I’m waiting for the post office to find my chip, do most people just use a breadboard, veroboard, or move to a breakout board for the sound chip?
This is my first time putting together electronics. Miraculously, got my lights wired up but I used a kit for that one.
I’d suggest getting a breakout board from Crix in the For Sale section. I personally haven’t dealt with his sound kits (although I’d like to soon), but they’re compatible with the Replica Props chip, and it would be much more compact and sturdy with the screw terminals rather than trying to hot glue some wires in a breadboard.
Defiantly a breakout board by Crix is the way to go. That is what I am using with my replica props chip. Easy to use terminals in soon he will have a plug and play light kit to go with it
Perfect! I Saw the breakout boards and they look much easier than all that damn soldering. Thanks for the heads up.
