can someone help me with some simplke wirring

in my proton pack i would just like to install some fixed on lights. just 4 christmas lights. my friend did it for my before and i just don’t know how to do it correctly. now i have 4 christmas lights all red, the newer littler ones not the old very hot ones, what gage wire and what do i do to make a circut correctly so that i get max power. i have a 4 d battery battery pack installed in the pack’s cyclotron i just need to figure this out asap.

can some one help me please

I’m not sure what kinda power the lights can take but I don’t think 4 D cells would kill them so just wire all 4 in series to the battery pack. Wire gauge shouldn’t matter, standard radioshack hook up wire will work fine(18-22 gauge range). You’ll probably want an on/off switch on it as well.

If you plug it all together and the lights are dim then rewire it so they’re all in parallel instead. If that’s greek to you just LMK and i’ll draw you a diagram.

what do you mean by paralell? i know what paralell means but i’ll deff. take that draw up if you can show me thanks!

This site explains it: Series and Parallel Connections

Thanks man you helped alot. this is what i got out of 2 9 volts it has 3 settings set to a toggle
