Character name or your own name?

Question for all you GBs out there. Do you have a movie character’s name on your suit or your own name? I’m building my Mark II suit and just curious what everyone else does. I’m sure it’s person preference but my last name only has 4 letters and I think it looks a little dumb on a name patch.

So lets see your name patch! Character or custom?

Most people seem to do their own name. I’ve got 4 letters in mine and it doesn’t seem to look any dumber then I do normally:

When I first got my costume together three years ago I eagerly snatched up the cheapest nametag I could find on Ebay. I chose Stantz, naturally, and ran with that for a while. But after I met with other fans in the area and we started up the Wisconsin Ghostbusters I decided I should probably use my own last name.

I haven’t let go of the Stantz badge, though. You never know when you’ll need to throw together a cosplay of that terrible GB2 coloring book.

I’ve got five letters and it doesn’t look too bad. We’ve got a guy with four on our team and he’s never looked weird to us. Well, maybe a little bit, but it had nothing to do with his nametag.

It was discussed some not too long ago.

I go with my real name.

I usually pick out high profile member’s and commit atrocities using their name’s.

Sorry, I guess my I was searching for the wrong terms. I got lots of results on where to buy…

I think I’ve always just liked the look of the longer last names with letters that are taller and squished to fit. Thats what I meant by I think my last name would look dumb with 4 letters, just odd spacing.

I don’t remember the horse scene… must have been one of those scenes cut from Ghostbusters II.

I like to think I look pretty dashing with my four-letter name on my suit…

Np. Kind of an odd thing to search for. Just thought I’d link it so you you could read others opinions.
