bummer. 1 light in the cyclotron burned out. is this repairable?
Should be able to replace it with a little soldering.
Had it happen to me, just replace the LEDs. Maybe contact the maker first to see if they have any tips.
Ya, regardless of who made whatever you used in your cyclotron, chances are Radio Shack has something you can replace it with, incandescent or LED.

I don’t know what baffles me more. How little information was given to explain the problem or how much advice can be given without enough info.
Is it incandescent? is it LED? Is it someone’s kit? ( Exoray, Hyperdyne, Proptronix, etc. ) Each kit has different performance, such as some LED kits having an inline resistor with the LED lead and others having the resistor built onto the controller board. Knowing this can make a huge difference when giving a proper answer. Are you using a home-made kit and if so, what’s it composed of? ( 2 x AA power supply, 6 x AA power supply, etc. String of Christmas lights? Home-made kit? )
Have you traced each lead? That’s my first course of action. Look for the cause of the bulb going out. Whether its incandescent or LED those bulbs should last a while and if they ended before their expected life cycle you’re probably looking at a place along the lead ( or at the board ) where (+) and (-) are meeting and shorting out.

I had a problem with one of the LEDs on my proptronix, turned out that it had been soldered on the wrong way around. Took it off, soldered it, works a dream now.
hey guys, thanks for the info. yeah it’s a proptronix and i traced the problem. green wire to LED was torn away. pack took a savage smack on saturday night. assuming that’s what happened. shit.
if you have any experience soldering that will be a very easy fix, if not, see if someone you know can do it for you.
If the wire pulled out, or the solder broke, you might want to consider adding another piece of wire to it. Is the break near the board or right at the LED’s lead?

Always use extreme caution when repairing a cyclotron. A proton pack is not a toy.
