Okay now seriously, I’ve learned that Dan Aykroyd will be appearing at the Fox and Hound Pub in Richardson, Texas on Tuesday the 11th to do the usual meet and greet vodka signing type stuff from 3pm to 4:30pm. How do I know this? From people who met with him at the Houston vodka signing. Now I’m not speaking for everyone, but I can bet pretty much all of the DFW Ghostbusters will be in attendence. We hope to see as many of you North Texas Ghostbusters fans out there as possible.

coolness, I could actually make it to this. So what’s the deal, buy vodka get it signed and maybe your pack? Is that extra money? Maybe people who’ve done this can fill me in. I just wouldn’t want to do anything that would piss him off, or just be uncool.
I need to clear somethings up about this event. I asked one of Dan’s crystal head workers or…whoever travels with him when he does these things and he first said that there wasn’t a signing. Which i knew to be not be true but I asked what was going on at the pub and honestly…it didn’t make much sense and i’ve had 3 hours sleep in the last 27 hours so bare with me. Anyway I called the pub and asked, they called it a signing but I told the girl that i was talking to that his people said it wasn’t a signing and she said “well its not so much a signing as it is him trying to sell his vodka” I said oh so its like a speach or sales pitch or something? she said “no he’ll be behind the bar talking with people and pouring drinks he might sign some stuff but it might be pretty busy so If you wanna reserve a table you can do so.” So I’m gonna call and do so. Sorry for the mix up when this was posted with the info that was given and by what the pub told us.
hmmm. I’m travelling from fort worth, I don’t want to risk my life driving across the metroplex to see Dan pour drinks!
I’ll call the place and get more info. seriously, the people on the freeway around here will kill you, especially the trucks and SUV’s as you get into Dallas.
ok, I called the pub, and he should be available for autographs according to the manager. a lot of the employees will be dressed as blues brothers and they may not have many crystalhead vodka bottles to sell, so we may want to purchase it at a liquor store first.
I’ve heard on here before how Dan takes care of his fans and I’ve seen with my own eyes how true this is. He was behind the bar (it was packed!)serving drinks and pushing his Vodka like a true salesman(lol) He was tending to everyone but I could see he kept looking over at the 5 or 6 of us standing at the end of the bar.
He said a few times to one of his associates"something something something, ghostbusters" I could read his lips, and I knew he was wanting to get of there and see us.
In the meantime, michael scott and myself chatted it up with Dan’s driver, who was cool. Eventually Dan made it over to us and he directed us to a pool table room, where he quickly signed our packs and whatever else we could get to him. I got my skull bottle signed, and my pack too.
It’s just so cool that Dan took care of us that way. He really is a great man! He stole my silver sharpie, but I think that is customary. It was a blast and I was glad to meet a few busters from here.

The “We’re ready to believe you” point is mandatory. Where two or more 'busters come together, there must be pictures taken with index fingers extended. I think that’s even in Tobin’s Spirit Guide.
Wish I coulda been there to hang with you guys, but I couldn’t get a babysitter on such sort notice and somehow, even Dan Aykroyd isn’t a good enough reason to bring a 9 month old to a bar. Just ain’t right, you know? lol
Glad I got to meet him on Monday though. Here’s hoping we get Ernie Hudson through here at another local convention or something soon so I can add another signature to my pack lol.
