for all Tri-State Ghost Heads, a little bit of refined Google Searching found me this link…
http://www.GarysWine.com Renowned movie star and celebrity Dan Aykroyd is making a rare New Jersey appearance when he brings his new Crystal Head Vodka to Gary’s Wine & Marketplace of Wayne, NJ on April 11th from 10:00am - 1:00pm EST. … >>>>
I’m not sure if that’s anywhere near the Wayne Hills Mall, or the other bigger mall, but I wonder how early I’d have to be to get there…
omg THANK YOU SO MUCH Shredder565, i heard he was coming and my friends father is going to be there but didnt know when. I am definitely going hahah.. time to get my autograph shit ready oh yea!!! thanks again Shredder565, this place is 5 min away bwuahah.. cheers.
I’m actually going to be bringing my Pro-Sumer Camcorder equipment with me, and I’m HOPING he’ll have time to do an interview. If anything, it might liven up the signing, or I’ll just ask to do it at the end of everything if he agrees to it.
I don’t know anything about wine, so I can’t ask anything interesting about it, like how it’s made, what’s the process of coming up with the right taste, etc, without coming off like a total idiot.
Here’s the d irect page with more information. Apparently international viewers as well as US Viewers will be able to watch the event live via online streaming and will be able to order a signed bottle as well.
Damnit! I will be on a plane heading back to PA from South Beach, FL. I want to get my proton pack signed and my crystal head vodka signed too! :walterpeck:
im going ape shit trying to figure what to get signed. i hope they let you take a picture with him. they may not, but doesnt hurt to try. as anyone else ever met him? what’s he like?
If anyone in full gear costume is coming, and wants to take a shot at Interviewing people, let me know.
I’m trying to work something out with the guy at the event. His latest idea, which I think is a great one if I can figure out some way to edit it together in an interesting way, is for me to film the entire event and make a mini documentary out of it for them.
I was toying around with having someone dressed up with full pack and gear interview the people in line…
Is anyone coming out to this thing in costume and has a approachable on camera personality? I’d do it myself, but I generally try to have a shy personality and would procrastinate until the event was over and not get a single line interview done :).
I have the whole costume (IE: Pack and jumpsuit). I wasn’t sure if I wanted to actually show up with that, but if you’re really into doing this, and it’s okay with the owners of the shop and all, yes I’d be happy too.
I’m a communications major (film), so I’m very intrigued by the idea of the docu and as far as I’m concerned, yes, I have an approachable personality lol
wow that seems like some serious fun. I can wait to see it in person when i show up!. if i had a pack and jumpsuit i would do it. im just gonna wear my GB motorcycle jacket and a shirt i made special for the event . you can check it out below.
I’m debating making the drive from Philly to this… would be great to meet him.
I could possibly be in for some on-camera stuff too. I have a jumpsuit and goggles but that’s it. I would most likely be in costume, in hopes of getting a picture with Dan.
ok dudes, i got the info needed, he is doing another appearance April 8th which is a WED from 4 to 7pm in Elizabeth NJ, at bayway world of liqour, i couldnt find any other info about this but here are the links. good to know us NJ cats get two tries to meet Dan. hope this helps.
i am 85% sure that im going in full gear, ie jumpsuit and pack…i think i might have him sign my gb2 puzzle poster, so i can display it and not worry about the signature getting smudged
Found an ad in the paper. Dan Aykroyd will be at the Bottle King in Morris Plains, NJ on April 9th between 4-7pm. He’ll be there signing bottles of a newly introduced line of Vodka called Crystal Head (glass bottles shaped like the crystal skulls).
Interesting that he chose to use the crystal skulls. His interest in the mysterious/paranormal is still plainly visible.
