Howdy partners. I was wondering: do you ‘seal’ your decals with anything to keep them in place and protected (mod podge, something like that, etc)?
With my studio creations pack for my niece I did spray with a satin sealer coat before the heavy weathering for the Afterlife look.
Then weathering and matt and semi gloss varnish from different angles for catching light. These were cheaper labels from eBay/Etsy.
For my own hero pack I’ve used a mix of Macks Factory and other sellers higher quality vinyl and aluminium labels and no sealing at all. I want it to age naturally and peel and chip with contact
Ok cool. I just put some metallic decals on a goggle kit (see that sub-forum for deets) and wasn’t sure how they’d hold up. Cheers!
For dry rubs i seal them up with Microscale Decal film.
Me too, it is worth.
