Do It Yourself! Ok, How?

I want to redo my PKE meter. Its crappily made and can’t past muster. I looked in the Equipment tab here and found only 2 plans for a PKE meter. Are there any more plans besides that? I’d like to make a meter that has the working wings/lights and the display screen, but I don’t know enough on how to do it. I hoped there would be a set of plans like Norm’s for the proton pack for building a meter but I don’t see any. I was torn between making one after the movie style or cartoon but since wood is my source material, I don’t think I can make a movie version. Is there something else similar to a Iona shoe polisher body that I can use if I wanted to make a movie version meter? I love to jury rig stuff but I don’t have any ideas on what to use.

I’ve seen peaple useing lint brushes from the dollor store I hope this helps.

Resin Iona’s will be available soon for under $20. That is all I’m going to say for now…

Tha’t an unaltered iona body you’re talking about right? No wings, no knobs, no fins… user has to modify it themselves, right?

That’s where I’m hung up, I cant figure out the wings, knobs, or faceplate

Yeah, you’re not going to find the whole shebang for $20… and I honestly don’t have any plans of offering conversion kits. I may look into, but only if I can do it right.
