The restored Ecto-1 has been confirmed to be at the June 15th Midnight release of the GBs game in Lewisville, TX gamestop store right near the Terminal Reality studios.

There is also a very high chance that Ernie Hudson will be here signing autographs and posing for pictures, etc. Chances for this jumped from about 40% to 80%, and are increasing. Final word on his attendance should be in by the end this week.
Badass video game, Terminal Reality guys, THE restored Ecto-1 from the first movie, and possibly Ernie Hudson… what else could you ask for at a Ghostbusters event!?!
Ecto-1 will appear from 9PM to a little after midnight, so be sure to show up early if you want pictures with it, etc.
Hey Z, you might need to talk to our buddy Trendkiller. He’s in the Plano area, so maybe you guys can pool it from there? Thiago’s out in Mesquite, so it’s kinda out of his way i think, but Trendkiller shouldn’t be too far from you… in theory at least.
Darn. I’ll check with my store anyway. Even if I can’t get it moved over, I can still come to the party, right? If so, I’ll just come for that night, then get my game the next morning at my store.
This is gonna be awesome. Even if Ernie can’t make it after all, just being there to see Ecto-1 and hang out with some other GBs will be great. I just called an old buddy of mine and he’s gonna tag along with me.
Now I’ve got just over a week to put the finishing touches on my proton pack so I can show up in gear. Maybe you Dallas GBs wouldn’t mind having someone from Cowtown
dang it, i hate living so far away from these places, yet still live in the state. thats a 5-6hr drive for me, and would need someone else to drive down there as well. kewl though, nonetheless, and surprised how many dev teams are actually located here in tx.
I worked for a gamestop for a little over a year and that was about a year ago and i also preorderd my copy for the wii that the store where the release will be. Last time i asked a few weeks ago you could not transfer your reservations you have to cancel and re reserve them. Thats how it was when I worked there and I think still works that way.
In any event everyone that can come should it will blow you friggin mind. :sigh:
since I live 30 minutes away from there- I’m going to try to make it. We will be moving into our new place all that day, so I may be too pooped to make it.

Well since I’m all the way down here in Houston, I won’t be able to physically walk into the store to pre-order it until the day of the release when I drive up. Guess I’ll just hang out for the event and come pick up my copy when I get home the day after.
Though the chance of Ernie being there is currently increasing. Final word should be in by the end of this week. Or a word about the situation anyways.
Ok, I just got my order moved over to the Lewisville store. Here’s how I did it, in case some of you need to do the same. I called the store in Lewisville to ask if I need to have my copy of the game reserved there to get into the event that Monday night. The girl that worked there said I did have to have it reserved there, so I asked what the best way to make the change would be. She told me to go into my store where it was reserved, ask to have that order put on a card, then immediately go home and place another pre-order, this time online. Just go to reserve the game, put all your information in, then when it asks you for the shipping address, click where it allows you to do an in-store pick-up. The zip code is 75067, and the store number is #688. It still asks for your credit card info, but they don’t charge you online. Be sure to print off your confirmation page and bring it in with you, as well as your method of payment (which for me is the gift card I got from my former pre-order store).
When I talked to the ■■■■■■■ the phone, she encouraged me to also pre-order the strategy guide to get it autographed by the TR guys. I haven’t done that yet,but I still might. I’ve been wondering what I’d have them sign anyway.
