Does anyone know what font the red ‘Call Us’ script is in? I’ve searched the site and can’t find any mention! The closest I can find is Vladimir Script font but it’s still not right.
Many thanks, much love.

Hm, [=C&ch[1]=a&ch[2]=l&ch[3]=l&ch[4]=U&ch[5]=s&wtfserver=rsc_wtf3&id=0003b3464f75d1ba000871e60000054e&glyphcount=6&imageid=0&x=93&y=48]whatthefont.com](http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/results?ch[0) doesn’t recognize it either. Could be a custom font.
The distortion from the curve can also play a large role in it not being recognised.
How about Brushscript font or Lucinda handwriting?

The quick version…
It’s highly likely to be a Filmotype font.
Filmotype was a typesetting machine and an exhaustive library of display typefaces.
1952 - Filmotype started
1955 - Filmotype font book ‘Lettering Styles Display Types’
Filmotype became Alphatype and ended in the late 90s.
2006 - Filmotype collection bought by Font Diner
2007 - 2012 Digital versions of the old fonts and modern versions based on fonts from 50s & 60s
Why not an exact match?
-
The exact original font may not yet have been digitized & released.
-
The exact original font may have been subtly modernized & released.
The relevant pages from an original font book are here:
These font books are gorgeous but don’t show full alphabets, so makes an exact match impossible.
Below I’ve put together the closest current samples of the Filmotype fonts. ‘Rage Italic’ not a Filmotype font but added for the ‘U’ shape.
Filmotype Kentucky, Filmotype Kingston, Filmotype Harmony, Filmotype Hamlet and Filmotype Honey are the most promising…
Hope this helps.
