Try those?

I forgot where I got mine, but they didn’t have a logo on them. Best I can find

thanks for the link but i want to have the same ones from the movie i don’t really care about the logo i just wanna know how to get them that sort of gray

I used black RIT black fabric dye. I think I watered it down a little. I don’t have a pic of just my pads, but here they are on my costume. They were white when I got them.

SORRY for the big pics below.. :o

Here’s before I had a real suit. This got me through halloween. Anyway I used not even all of the bottle of black RIT dye and they’re a nice darker shade of gray. The Franklin pads took well to them. The actual “pad” part too. I was an idiot and scraped the logo off before even dying them so its a bit worn now. To avoid the extra fabric, I tuck the majority of the excess into the pad at the top and bottom. I’ll eventually sew them in so it’ll be easy to slide on quickly.

Those pads look familiar. I forget where the topic is, but I thought that person and a lot of people for best results spray the pads bubble with gray primer and then in the creases with black to give it that look. I did mine cheaply since these pics were taken with a black sharpie. Can’t remember if that was what someone said they sprayed black paint in the creases but the sharpie worked for me and mine look great…to me anyway. I need to post some updated pics of my uniform once I do some more work on my belt circuit. Just the missing fabric you can see where I scraped the name off. Someone said they dyed theirs on the stove and the words just fell off so…if they don’t I’m sure it won’t look too bad, noticable.

Hope this helps somewhat! There are quite a few great elbow pad discussions if you do a search for “elbow pads” I’m confident a lot of helpful stuff came up, it helped me! I may try to go for more accurate one day(I guess the Markworts are discontinued and there was a close alternative) but I love mine for now. 8)
