Hey guys, I know I’m new here, but I’ve been tryin’ to make myself a costume for the last week, and have really put something together pretty well, and pretty quick. So far I’ve got the coveralls/flightsuit, ecto goggles, boots, name tag (still waiting on my GB patch in the mail), and recent addition, elbow pads. I’ll try and get some pics up soon! If any of you are looking for elbow pads that are VERY close to the ones used in the movies, you’ve probably noticed the site that offered them no longer sells them. As disappointed as I was, I started checking sporting goods stores, and found nothing.. Don’t fret! I was at Wal-Mart tonight, and what does my roommate find? Volley ball knee pads that are ALMOST IDENTICAL to the ones used in the movies!!! They are Franklin Volleyball knee pads (contoured). I can’t find any links online to show you what they look like, so I’ll get some pics of them up online soon. They come in black and white; I bought the white ones so I can dye them gray. Anyway - Sporting Goods Dept. with the volley ball stuff if you’re looking for elbow pads!
