It all depends on how close the gun box you’re using are to these plans and how far into the body you shoved the handle.
1- From the Sony pack close ups, the angled screw is almost 1/4" sunk into the ear and the wall is solid.
2- Its physically impossible to tighten that screw if the ear is made hallow.
3- To be hollow it would have to be bent and welded, and would have any sharp edges. So far no one lists extruded aluminum in that size.
4- The end of the ear has saw blade grooves which wouldn’t be there if a cap were welded on there. And it is made from the same bar used for making the other ears on the handle…
5- The opposite ear is solid and drilled through for the flash bulb wires. If the trigger ear were hollow, they would’ve passed the wires inside instead of outside.
I don’t see how anyone can say the right ear is hollow. It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.
I pointed all that out to him awhile ago, he agrees but it doesn’t really change the plans at all. Dimensions, angles and hole sizes are still all the same.
Oh good.
Because that would just send people in a wild goose chase looking for that part

I am working on my first gun and was wondering where/how the Trigger Box attaches to the Gun Body and/or Rear Instrument Bar. There also needs to be someway to run wires from the trigger box into the Gun Body, so another hole must be somewhere…
There is an 1/8" hole marked on the Gun Body (sheet 1) and I do not know if that is for the Trigger Box or the Green level thingee (does it have a name?)
The trigger box attaches to the instrument bar which is then attached to the gun body. Running wires can be a bit tricky depending on what your parts are made out of but not overly difficult.

Probably a dumb question, but how is the outer tube of the forward grip attached to the inner tube. I’m assuming that this is the tube that allows the grip rotation, but I can’t make out how the two are attached to one another… or is it just pressure fit?
The gun lock is welded partially to the outer tube and a set screw secures the whole assembly. Loosen or remove the set screw and the grip will turn.
That seemed the most logical place for a set screw or similar, but I thought it was believed that there was no screw in the hole on the gun block. You could probably mod it to be a little more secure by milling a groove into the inner barrel tube for the set screw to slot into without worry of the outer tube inadvertently sliding off.

There seems to be a few photos that show threading in the hole.
We’ve seen a hero thrower with the front barrel partially dis-assembled, and haven’t seen anything other than a possible setscrew to be a viable solution.

The pack plans are not done yet, and the gun plans are being revised; there are certain things that are off, such as the front handle assembly on the currently posted versions of the plans.

At this point what you see is what you get. There are no plans to release updated dimensions at this time. All the info used to create the plans is available here though, it’s just “some assembly required”. 
I’ve made several updates offline; they just aren’t hosted here. Is there a specific part you need a drawing for?
Not anymore, I have essentially finished the pack. It took a lot of research, a lot of photo comparison and measurement extrapolation, but I am satisfied with the outcome. Thank you
