Is this happening to anyone else?
Every page takes about 20-30 seconds to load.
Its not my internet connection cuz I only have this issue on this website.
I don’t have any problems. Sometimes a single ISP can have a bad connection to the servers.
Try this. Open a Windows command prompt, and type: “tracert gbfans.com”
Then post it here. You can also run a “ping gbfans.com” and that will determine if everything is getting through and how fast the connection is.
Site’s been running fine for me all day, but at the same time I’ve had days where I couldn’t get onto the forum at all… yet the problem was only being experience by me.
No issues on my end.
Ok, this is all gibberish to me, but here’s the results of the two commands:
The network guys looked into it and didn’t find any issues with the link.
Are you still having problems?
A trace was run back to your ISP from the server and it was timing out.
Most likely an issue with your ISP. Not sure why GBFans would be the only thing affected, but it looks like it happens on a handoff between Verizon and Above.net.
Odd…
In any case things seem to be working fine now.
