Firehouse Rebuild...Update 12-3-13

I got my Kenner Firehouse in the mail today from evildead and I am going to do a movie themed repainting job on it. I have picked up a few parts from CaptCyan that he made molds of on his Firehouse. I am also going to figure out a way to fit the Containment Unit from the Walter Peck figure in it. I’m not going to start till after the holidays as I got to much going on right now to give it my full attention. So please check back when I start posting pictures of the progress.

Well I found a little free time last weekend while the wife and kid were out shopping. I just put down a basic paint job on the outside just to see out my color choices looked. Here’s what I have so far.

Testors gloss white and gloss red and flat black.

are the firehouse upgrade parts (doors, sign, pole assembly) still available? I just got a quality firehouse shell and wanted to make similar upgrades for the Matty figures.

Jigman, If you cut the bottom row of bricks and base off your peck containment grid, it will fit perfectly up against the wall of the first floor of the firehouse. won’t even block the ecto from going in and out either :slight_smile: make sure to sand where you cut on a flat surface so it doesnt wobble. Ive attached mine to the wall using 2 sided foam tape to avoid falls when bumped, but if your cut is staight and sanded flat youll be good to go without needing to secure it.

now to figure out how to fit the vigo painting in the firehouse that doesnt look awkward…
