FOR SALE: Limited Edition 'Imagined Blueprint' Proton Pack

As a long-time lurker of these forums, I shared a few of my spare-time drawings a few years ago and people seemed to like them… well, I’ve upped my game a little with this next one!

Building on the huge amount of passion and knowledge of others around here, and with a little spin of my own on a few bits, I’ve created this ‘imagined blueprint’ of the Proton Pack. It’s meant to look a little bit like a found item from the timeline of the first film, drawn by Egon and annotated by Ray/Pete, with a few little easter eggs in there and plenty of imagination! I’ve even gone as far as finishing it like it’s been sat in a box for nearly 40 years, creased, bootprints, coffee stains, general dust and grime…

If this looks like something you’d want to hang up as part of your collection, you can find Limited Edition prints at A3, A2 and A1 over on my website. I sign and number each one individually (there’s only 100 at each size), and then carefully package and ship them internationally in a solid cardboard drawing tube. Please note that, due to ongoing international shipping delays, I will confirm timings and costs on each order. Standard UK shipping remains free though!

And as a gesture of goodwill to my fellow fans, GBFans forum users can use the code ‘GBFANS23’ for 10% off!

Wonderful, that’s well done

Thank you, much appreciated!

This is amazing. I recently done a project to recreate “CPW Blueprints” as seen in the jail scene of GB1. As part of that process. I found a guy who who able to reproduce my drawings using authentic blueprinting process. I think these would look amazing in that medium if you were interested in the details of the guy who can do the prints?

That would be amazing, thank you! I did try a few versions in a Photoshoppy fake reversed blueprint style but I couldn’t get it looking right without actually doing a proper cyanotype print… but if you have a guy who can help, I’d be interested to explore that properly!

Fantastic poster design.

Thanks buddy, much appreciated!

Just a quick message to note that I’ve managed to swap international shipping providers and reduced the cost on that by half! The GBFans discount code ‘GBFANS23’ is still running too, so you can plug that in at checkout and get 10% off.

Thanks again to everybody who has shown interest, support and purchased so far, really means the world to me and helps me justify doing a few more drawings like this (if anyone has suggestions, even outside of the GB franchise, let me know!).

Purchased one of these for a friend! Hoped to get a photo of it framed up but haven’t yet, but just wanted to say it looks amazing! Might get another for myself

Thank you for your kind words! I always love seeing them posted up in their new homes, especially alongside everyone’s own builds!

I should have shared sooner… This print is beautiful, and took up home right behind my pack display.

An immaculate pack build there, I’m glad you think my work has a place alongside it!

This is wonderful! Seriously, I can’t stress how much I love this.

Well done!

How did I not see this sooner?

Definitely ordering.

Do you just do the print or also a framed version?

Hey! Thank you! I only offer the print, as the frames are always so expensive (and risky) to ship… and people tend to prefer finding their own frame to fit their decor! But all still available via the website, with the GBFans discount code still valid as well!

No sweat. Well done man (assuming your nick is short for Sebastian, apologies if I’m wrong), can’t wait to order this

I’m not just praising this for no reason: the wording on the captions are so perfect, precise yet vague. Almost impossible to contradict in any canon. This is what I love about the “science” in GB. Anything you make, keep it vague enough to keep it believable. Real thought has gone into what you made.

It reminds me of the ghost trap instructions I created in:

Which was turned into a video here:

I really appreciate work that has so much (careful) thought gone into it like your Proton Pack poster. Really awesome!

Yes unfortunately for me, with a childhood of comparisons to a certain Jamaican crustacean and his mermaid friend…!

Making the drawing was super cathartic, like a lifetime of curiosity was finally being satisfied! It was great fun taking the original ideas from canon and fleshing it all out with the great work and thinking of other fans, plus a little bit of my own imagination for good measure.I have so many other drawings planned out as well, I want to cover everything in universe, just need to find the time!

That’s a great post and video as well, well done! I love the VHS 80s style as well, really suits it all! If I ever get around to a similar drawing for the trap, I’ll be in touch for your thoughts on notes etc!

That looks outstanding
