FS: Ecto Containment Unit model kit (1/6 Scale for 12" figs)

Okay, since there has been sufficient interest expressed in a 1/6 scale Ecto Containment Unit kit (for use with the larger, 12" figures), I’m offering one for sale.

This kit is built on the dimensions of my full-size ECU (my own derived dimensions and original build).

The complete kit includes all the gray printed pieces pictured here (and two scale-appropriate hinges for the door)…



The price for this kit (including all gray printed ABS plastic pieces ant two hinges) is $50 (US) + shipping.

Keep in mind that there is a distinct surface texture with additive 3D printed objects of this nature. A tiny amount of bondo and/or a robust sandable primer will definitely be required to achieve a really smooth surface for painting.

Any details you wish to add to this base kit (inner door trim, lights, wires, etc.) are all up to you.

My reasoning for making the “control panel” pieces separate was to enable less cumbersome treatment of the main body (and to allow for easy drilling for adding wires/lights).

I will be printing a 1/12 scale kit (for use with smaller 6" figures) to see ensure the models work well with that smaller scale (and to figure a price for a kit).

If you need a special scale for your project, let me know, and I will do my best to work with you.

Thanks! I should be ready to do a test print this week of the 1/12 scale version… I’ll let everyone know how it goes.
