Ok ive just finished up the master for the foam stunt traps. The kit will come with 2 foam parts, the body and handle and 10 resin parts, the vetor plate, CAL-R resistor, 2 side rods, tear drop dial, GB1 or GB1 side dial and 4 front plate dials.

Ive found out that superglue bonds resin parts to foam so well that I cant tear them off even if I try! These things will be super light and super party/bar proof! Perfect for halloween!!

Im looking for 5 people to pre-order one of these kits so i can get working on the big mould and order all the gun foam ill need. Price for 1 kit is £70 GBP plus shipping (£4 GB and £9 rest of the world).

UPDATE

A sample of the new foam arrived today. This stuff is WAAAY easier to work with! I did a few samples in mixing cups and then went for an actual cast of my new screen used bumper. Really happy witht he result and this is the foam that the traps will be made from.

Nick, just checked your webpage and didnt see so ill ask, i have just completed the bulk of my first trap build but am having problems getting the display block and “ears” on the front of the trap to look like i want, do you offer a resin version of this? if so how much and is it available now?

I understand part of it is resin. But I can’t tell if that’s all resin or foam…

if i didnt have the matty trap id be so down for one hope u can get the throwers to mold right thats what im waitin on! but these look so flawless nick i might have to jump on board!

The trap pictured is made from resin. This will be moulded and this mould will used to cast foam copies.

curious to see the actual foam trap. are you going to be making foam pack shells still?

To be honest I doubt the shells will happen. I’m hoping though that a lighter foam will make them possible though.

I dont recommend trying to attach a V-hook to these. The best way would be to use velcro to attach to a trap holster. As these are designed to be belt hanglers theres no need to keep removing them from the holster.

Well as soon as the pre-order guys have paid i can order the silicone and foam. Ive just placed a small order for a different, lighter foam that may be a little easier to use but if not i can still continue with the current foam im using. id say 3 days after the prder orders have been paid ill start pulling casts.
