Please add me to the list for one. Will I need the separate battery they are offering in the E-cig sale thread? Or will this work with my 12v 9800mah blue brick alone?
The relay is controlled by the Pack Lights board, and the output connections are completely isolated from the Pack Lights board.
You get to choose what battery is connected to the relay contact. You can use a single 12V battery to the lights (and also sound board) and if connected to one of the relay contacts, the same battery can power the e-cig circuitry during a vent.
If you want separate batteries, for example a 9.6V powering the Pack lights and sound and a 12V for the e-cig just connect the separate battery to one of the relay contacts instead of the light/sound battery and that will work too.
