GB I GB II style packs

I was just wondering what are the main differences between a GBI and GBII style proton pack. I see in the pics that the GB II packs (RAYS) has a series of batteries mounted onto the mother board behind his head, and the resistor on the ion arm is a dale resistor. What are the other differences between the two packs

also im fairly new to this site and i hear people mention GBII hero packs (Lobby scene) what is a hero pack.

Hero packs are the ones that have all the details and electronics.. stunt packs tend to be lower quality and, well, made to be breakable and cheap to replace..

Differences I can think of:

Ion Arm cap in GB1 has a Clippard square elbow in the cap, in GB2 the elbow is on the ion arm itself (not sure if it’s a square or not)

The ribbon is different in both movies.

The V-Hook is at a different angle in GB2 to make it easier to take off and put back the wand

LC-1 Alice frame in GB1, LC2 in GB2

there’s probably more..

In addition to the list above…

Shock mount is different (screws from behind in GB1…giggidy),

Different banjo tips on the throwers,

Edges of the heatsink are rounded off in GB2,

Different colored crank knob (gray for GB1 black for GB2),

Some of the labels are missing/swapped,

There are more but they escape me right now.

Of the top of my head:

The screws that holds the shell on the motherboard are socket cap screws for GB1, Phillips screws for GB2.

The gun side knobs are knurled for GB2, non-knurled for GB1.

The ion arm rods are painted black for GB1.

  • True GB2 pack has booster molded in

  • Injector tubes mounted closer to the mobo

-Power supply (makita battery) mounted on upper portion of mobo

  • Change in padding used

    I know there is more…

The only other things I can think off are the weld between the ion arm and the booster for GB1, the weld on the booster/EDA for GB2, and the different spacers between the motherboard and the ALICE frame (shorter for GB1, with a rubber spacer for the top bolt) Anything else?
