No, not Spielberg, I could never dream of amounting to most of the talent out there, much less expect other people to do the same. No I’m looking for amature mistakes to help him on, which untill you all decided this would be best handled as a flame war, was my intention.

Believe it or not that excerise is brilliant, and can tell alot about people’s inate talent. I failed it the first time, because I didn’t comprehend the cuts, had boring locations and could find anybody outside the class to act. It forces someone to go out on a limb and look for what they need to make a decent film. I understand it’s just a fan film, but I also undertsnad this kid claims to have “skillz” I WANT see them.
But thanks for backing me into a corner, I’m even if you all hadn’t started your flame war I might have been able to actually help. Now I doubt he’d listen to anything I’d say to help him, or even the apology I’d give if he in fact came through.
Stay around this community for a few more years, you’ll find that at first you want be all nice and supportive about everyone with a fan film idea, but they all end up busting, and it get’s upsetting to have unfullfilled promises. So yes, I take things like this with a grain of sault, and if I see fit I will do what I feel to push someone to actually make it. Because sitting around discussing ideas does nothing.

Look, Like I said I apologize for what I said above the last thing I want is for us not to get along.(I think we should try to stick together as a community) I 'm not saying that you are wrong in wanting to help him, I do however feel that you approached the situation wrong. But that being said I’m going to let this go, we both have different ways to approach the same situation.

So granted this turned into a small flame war, I apologize for that. I know how these projects spring up and usually die off. But fan projects aren’t easy. But I think sticking together as a community and be supportive will be better for everyone. So I think we should wait to pass judgment on anything until we see the finished product.

Yeah You see When my Khaki coveralls arrive I have patches to on them. How ever the navy ones don’t have patches Just painted symbols. it looks good the name tag isn’t the best but oh well.
