GB1 Key Fob Sizing question. Post updated, project completed!

I am in the process of making some of my own fobs for my belt

Does anyone know if the leather fobs on a GB1 belt are 3/4" or 1" wide? I recently got some 1" D rings that someone told me were too large. So I exchanged them for 3/4" and to me, they look too small now. I did some measuring in photoshop based on this promo photo of Venkman, and his fob that just has the single D ring looks to be 1".

Does anyone have a definitive answer because I have a few sources telling me different things. Thanks!

I bought 1" lobster clips and 1" leather strip for building mine. It matches up pretty much with my Tyger Cheex ones.

The D-rings are 1", but the lobster clips have a 3/4" eye.

Thru some trial and error, I used some scrap leather I had on hand, and hardware from the Dollar Tree dog leash and harness, and came up with these. A huge improvement over my first ones (left) Not 100% accurate, but I am happy with how they turned out
