GB1 or GB2 proton gun placement?

Hi folks,

I’m almost complete my first scratch pack build and I has hoping for some input on how the proton gun should sit.

Ideally I would love a GB1 accurate pack with the gun straight up, but I know they changed it to angled for GB2 to make it easier for the actors to draw.

Is it that hard to draw the proton gun from the straight up and down position?

Will I be saving myself some trouble if I angle it like in GB2?

Seeing as this is my first, I have no “gun drawing” experience - any input would be helpful.
