It was funny to see the Los Angeles Police pretty much ignor Boomer’s Ecto with the blue bars exposed and even on!
Gat Dang. Can’t drive an Ecto anywhere.
Most cops seem to like ecto’s, at times taking pictures and stopping us to check out the roof rack, but I still have no idea how Boomer gets away activating his lights and sirens on public roads.
Just during our trek to and from Dcon we had 4+ cops take our pictures and check out the truck.
Uh-oh. I live on Long Island and am working on putting sirens/lights on my car soon. This doesn’t bode well for me haha

Is forbidden in USA to carry blue lightbars and siren on cars (or lightbars in general)?
I thought that was different from state to state and I thougt you could carry them in quite all the states (in some with lightbars covered by the lightbars cover)
Here in Italy it’s forbidden, because the car shouldn’t be changed without the Factory permit and if police stops it they can pull the car away and recall my license.
No idea about the states laws on them, as far as I can tell from reading the Ecto forum it differs from state to state.
Shame about your laws though, can’t change a car unless you get a factory permit? Bit harsh isn’t it? Would magnetic no ghost logos count? If not then at least it’s something
