When you go to Walt Disney World, do this for free parking.....when you go through the main gates for Magic Kingdom, go all the way to the right, tell them you're going to the Polynesian or the Contemporary for lunch, then instead of going to Magic Kingdom parking, go to either the Contemporary or Polynesian ( the Contemporary is walking distance to MK, the polynesian is one monorail stop away from MK). Tell the guard at the entrance you are going to eat dinner or lunch at that resort (if you need names for any restaurants, PM me or google them lol) and then park for free at the resort, they won't tow you or anything. If you are going to any other parks, you can take the monorail or the buses...plus it's a lot faster then dealing with the ticket and transportation center. I'm a bit of an expert since my fiance is a fairy godmother :)......
I have always parked in that one parking lot out behind that restaurant by Howl at the Moon and behind that restaurant and the Walgreens, it’s quite a sizable parking lot, and there’s no way anyone can enforce that area and tell wether you’re parking there for the Con or not I would think. I figured everyone parked there if they didn’t park in that parking garage out by Pointe Orlando. Well, I typically parked there when I was going to some surrounding building…like Howl atthe Moon or the nearby businesses.
Saturday, Reserve 2 more spaces for Me and the lil lady will be attending as well, i just wont have my pack with me, still under construction, but hope to have my ghost sniffer ready by then!! She will be in Harry Potter garb, I havent had time to convert her yet, LOL, can’t wait to see you all there!
As far as the disney parking, I was a castmember there for 13 years.. We usually do park at the contemporary and either walk or monorail over to mk.. I think the people gating us in free are at mgm studios, but we can easily monorail there as well.
(We used to park at the dolphin/swan, and just walk to the disney studios as well.)
Just an FYI/coincidence…on March 14th at 7pm (that’s the Sunday of MegaCon)…Ghostbusters is going to be playing outside at LAKE EOLA BANDASHELL N. Rosalind St Orlando, FL 32801…from what I’ve been told it’s a park lol…for more info go to enzian.org and look under popcorn flicks…
We are seriously considering going over there now… anyone else up for it? The more the better, I’d think? Maybe some of the Florida guys were already planning on attending?

plan on parking not being easy to find, its downtown, in a busy area, on a sunday, where there’s a produce market. they’d have to show up early to get a decent spot by the bandshell. sundays in that area are usually spent around the lake.
i used to work on that side of town on sundays a couple streets over, and always had to come an hour before work.
Garee, I already sent word out to the Florida crews…as far as I know Scott and Sandra are back on Sunday or Monday from their cruise…and just an FYI, there’s a Blue Ghostbuster now to go along with the Pink…

Dude (and I don’t use the word “dude” that often, lol) , I don’t think those 5 hour energy shots will workin this instance…I’m might have to take some kind of adrenaline shot (like you see those space marines take in those Sci-Fi flicks) for the first time in my life to keep me going all FRACKIN’ weekend.
