I’ve seen stuff about a Ghostbusters vs Freddy project they did Im not sure if it was a comic book or whatnot but if that’s the case than they should do a Ghostbusters vs Jason too.
I’ve got Ghostbusers vs Freddy on a DVD…not sure where I got it from, should still be available somewhere on the internet.
I’d had this idea since I’d seen Nightmare on Elm Street, and when I found out someone actually had the same idea and made it a reality I downloaded it right away. It’s not bad at all!
This would be brilliant, maybe in graphic novel format. Of all the crossover “Jason versus…” ideas I’ve ever heard proposed, this is probably the most plausible, in terms of who might have a shred of hope to defeat him. I think ecto-containment might be the only possible way to actually stop Jason, or at least slow him down for a good long while.

This is pretty cool… Thanks for the heads-up!
The sequel was better.

I think Swamp Thing would give Jason a good fight and that would be a good match up.
As far as the Ghostbusters containing Jason in their storage facility the problem is that Jason is not really a ghost but rather solid matter, much like the Boogeyman from the Ghostbusters animated series. As such the Ghostbusters would not be able to trap him with their conventional methods of ghost trapping unless they could somehow convert Jason into a ghost form which I believe they did with the Boogeyman when the finally defeated him. If they could do that and if they could catch Jason and put him in their storage facility he could be kept there indefinitely.

Swamp Thing the DC comics character? Maybe if it was 70s Len Wein/Bernie Wrightson Swamp Thing he could battle it out with Jason and it would be a good fight.
After Alan Moore changed Swamp Thing into an elemental in the late 80s he was/is way WAY above Jason and would destroy him pretty much instantly.
Hell prefect setup have the GB’s investigating the aftermath of Jason takes Manhattan.
