Because the Ghostsmashers’ pack looks quite simple and Ron’s team is cool I’m trying to build one.

That looks like an interesting start, but I think you got the dimensions wrong. From the comic cover, it looks to be the length from the shoulders to the top of the belt buckle, and yours looks to be only half that length.
BTW, is that yellow eva foam?
Thanks ![]()
Indeed. I’ll works on a bigger soon.
Sort of.
I used a sport training foam carpet .
Some of that foam will take paint well (eva based foam) and others will not. You might want to test which you are working with to see if paint reacts with it, or if its stable.
(Those puzzle edged interlocking mats from sam’s club, sears, and kmart are eva foam)
Walmart has carried both types.
I was wondering when a fellow propper would tackle this pack. Yours looks good but is definately undersized.
You’re well equipped, said!
Nice job you did :nicejobyoudid:
Good luck
Alrighty, I just picked up an Apple PowerCD off the bay for $20.00. I got and extra Alice Pack frame in the garage waiting for it. So lets see how all of this fits together.
Probably not to well…the power CD is larger than a discman but smaller than a PS1, they basically doubled or tripled it in size for the comic.
I’d guess its about half the size of the OP’s foam pack
So it will be OK for my kid. But if I want one, Ill have to scratch build the mold. At least I will have something to work from.
Also, since everyone in this thread is saying that the OP’s foam pack is too small, are we looking at triple or quadruple the size of the original PowerCD?
