Found some on evilbay for $5 plus about $5 shipping, plus they combine shipping.
Don’t search for “crookneck”, just search for “military flashlight”.
The correct term for them is “anglehead” or just “military” flashlights.
If you check surplus stores (either online or brick and mortar), you can usually get them for under $10 shipped.
We do have a few surplus stores here.. if they have them for under $10, it’d be easier to just support the local stores, if I can.
I got mine for $7 after shipping.

Check your local surplus store or ask your military friends. They’re about $3-5 in surplus stores, and free from military friends. 
I already called around, cheapest local place in a surplus store is $10.95!
And no military freinds that might have something like this, plus I need one for me, and one for the wife’s gear.
I just now did a Google Shopping search for “anglehead flashlight” and had plenty of results.
I found a place that will sel them to me for $5 each, with $5 total shipping for a pair. That seems like the best deal I can find on them
It looks like many people are adopting the flashlight rig! I was deciding whether to go for it or not.
We adopted the flashlight and the radio changes from the game.
We got our flashlights for about $8 shipped off ebay.. arriving soon.
Putting the radios on the alice strap was a breeze.. we just used a few keyring rings to simulate D rings, put those on the adjustment straps on the alice shoulder straps, and then just slipped the radio’s belt strap through them.
The flashlights have a clip and what looks like a bottom ring, so we should be able to do the same thing.
I might also add the MT500 (when it gets here) to the straps. I’ve heard they are pretty heavy to carry them in the belt.

So here’s a slightly relevant question…
Once we find our military flashlights, how do we attach them to our shoulder strap? I’m not seeing anything on my shoulder strap it can attach to. Anyone got pics of how this thing goes on?
There’s a clip on the back, and what looks like a ring at the bottom.
We just attached our radios, so we’ll add our flashlights the same way.
You either need keychain rings, or D shaped keychain rings.
Put the ring on the top adjustment strap connection and then put the flashlight clip on that. hook two keychain rings together, loop that into the bottom adjustment strap hole, and then connect the top ring to the loop at the bottom of the flashlight.
You COULD sew pouchs for these onto the alice straps, or attach velcro, but this way both can be removed if you choose easily, and will be plenty strongso nothing falls off.

Its pretty easy just take some nylon straping and add a snap and button really easy screw one to mt500 and clip the flashlight on the other.And this is what you get when your done.Ill post pics of the straps sometime tonight to show you what I mean.

Damned ebay seller STILL hasn’t shipped them, though I won and paid last week. I should have them for Monday’s midnight launch party, but its a bit too close for my comfort.
This is weird.. when I emailed the ebay seller again asking about shipping tracking, and remonding him again that I needed them for this weekend, I for a foul languaged reply back, daring me to post negative feedback on them, and my payment refunded.
So I did post that negative feedback, and also reported his reply to ebay as well, since it was totlly uncalled for. That was two days ago.
Now the REAL oddness… yesterday I for a fed ex shipping email that they were being shipped out via fed ex!
So.. I don;t get payment info for 4 days, pay iimmediately, don’t hear anything for 3 more days, finally get a foul mouthed reply back, and my payment refunded, and then the following day, my order is being shipped via fed ex?
Color me confused…
