Mine came in on Monday. I already had a chance to hook it up with my deluxe gun lights. It sounds really good. Very easy to setup. The only part that took me a minute to figure out was the GB theme song. The startup, shutdown, firing, all sound great. The song sounds really good with little 3 way pioneer car speaker I bought from walmart. I’ve found nothing wrong with the kit. A+ work by exoray.
Now with any luck I can get some white and orange led caps from him.

well it appears to me that theres too much bass for those speakers hence the cracklin also it sounds like hes got the vibrating motors that go into the gun.
A video of this kit setup correctly would be helpful
Maybe the speakers aren’t tightened down and are vibrating against the motherboard?
i think it sounds awesome in person nice and loud and just like the movies
i think the speaker is too close to the motherboard and the part that vibrates with the sound is touching the motherboard i may move it back a little with a spacer and see the results
other than that i couldnt be happier with it
Fix the speakers and you might have something.
yeah the speaker defo give a bit of “rumble” what ever i do with it, even when i turn the volume down
it could be because im using a 12v battery im sure exo said ther would be a bit of distortion if using a 12 V.. not sure…
im gonna try another speaker all other sounds play great apart from the power up and down which distortes
well iv no idea why its distorting like that..
iv tried 2 different powerd speakers iv tried using a 9v battery and 12 v battery its always the same
im just getting a sort of distortion / rumble during power up and down all other sounds are fine even the pack hum which i thought would distort
thers no other way i can wire it up its plug and play so what am i doing wrong?
i have to admit it does sound rather cool even with a bit of rumble / distortion it just sounds so powerful

Did u solder ur wires to the speaker? or are they just connected. I remember getting distortion when the connections were just touching. Wen they got soldered then i got no distortion
they were solderd in the 1st vid but not now since iv been fiddling with it…
anyhow this is my pack now as is…
im not 100% satisfied with the distortion iv tried different batterys and everything is wired up as it should be
i can only assume that the speaker is not up to the job.. the one im using is a car speaker i dont know the specs of it,
and the other speaker which still destortes just the same is a mid range speaker (130mm 8 ohm 60watt rms / 120 watt max)
is that speaker not up to standard?
so anyhow i need to sort this out i have not come this far with my proton pack to just back out now.. NO WAY!!
what speaker do i need for the job could someone please post some speaker specs or pics that would be sufficient for the job or even better a link to ebay or where i can get one and bare in mind i need it to fit inside my proton pack..

cheers nosllit it does sound good its just the heavy rumbling/vibrating sound on power up and down that is bothering me..
when i turn the vol down its still ther only less/lower in volume.. when i hear other peoples vids the sound is crisp and clear not rumbling like mine

it cant be anything other than the speaker i have it set up basically standard its all set up as exoray intended you cant really wire it up wrong as its all plug and play
i think i need a good speaker iv opend a few speaker threads in the past but no one really answerd the question
of which speaker to use all i want is it to be nice and loud and clear
by the way the buzzing sound during gun fire is the rumble motor in the gun it seems to pick it up on video more so than in person

Where do you hook up to for the music switch?
the switch is a momentary placed on the back of the motherboard and is wired direct to the “pins” on the sound board
any of the sounds can be wired direct to a switch
still need help with a suitable speaker , anyone? they are ranging from £20 to £80 and 100 watt to 1000+watt
