I just assembled my pack to the piont I could try it on today. I noticed its really hard to reach back and take the gun off its mount, and damn near impossable to put it back on without taking the pack off. Thinking back, I can’t recall seeing the boys put the gun back in th movie, they just hang it from the belt. Does anyone have any tips on how to look cool while drawing your stick?
If you haven’t already done it, you should put a slight tilt on the gun mount. Hopefully though, you’ve alrady done that. It’s in all the plans, and the way they movie packs are. However, you have to be careful when doing this. A common mistake made by people who don’t do their homework is to give the mount too much tilt. While it may be easier to pull, this just looks awkward and way off from the movies. If you do have the tilt already, then I don’t know what to tell you.
yeah, putting the gun back is a pain in the butt. that is why on your belt there is a key ring that has nothing on it. you hang your gun off of it by that little hook in the back
